Messi Looking Ahead To 2010 WCQ's
After Argentina’s 2-1 defeat against Norway on Wednesday Lionel Messi told the press that Argentina will learn from the defeat, looking ahead to the 2010 World Cup qualifiers.
zoom - galleria The highly fancied Argentines were two goals behind in the 58th minute, but although they pulled a goal back late on they still struggled to find their best form.
But despite the narrow loss Messi told reporters that the most important thing to get out of the match is that it serves the team as experience for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers that commence later on in the year.
“The climate in the dressing room was relaxed after the defeat. This is because it is just a friendly match before the "all important" World Cup qualifiers. These type of matches help the team continue to grow”, he said after the match in Oslo.
Messi was relatively quiet in the first half, but was able to demonstrate his undisputed class in the second, with some exciting runs.
“I’m happy with how the team played. They (Norway) were unable to create many goalscoring opportunities, but John Carew (who scored twice) had an outstanding match”, added the Barcelona striker.
Argentina couldn’t play their normal game because there wasn’t “much space” to move around in because Norway “closed themselves down in defense”.
“With the introductions of Federico Insua and Fernando Gago we were able to play better football and we came close to drawing the match, but losing still hurts”, he concluded.
Argentina will kick off their World Cup qualifying campaign on the 13th of October when they entertain Chile at the Monumental stadium in Buenos Aires.

زيدان
شايد گذاشتن اين تايپيك اين جا يك كمي ناجور باشه.امّا چون من خودم كلّي عشق زيدانم، مي‌خوام اين تايپيكو بذارم تا هر كي مي‌خواد بياد توشو از زيدان بگه.چه اخبار جديد ازش كه چي كار مي‌كنه چه عكس و كلّا هرچي كه مربوط به زيدان باشه.
