My biggest pronunciation problems were with the “v” sound and the “l” sound
بزرگترین مشکلات تلفظم, با صدای "v" و "l" بود
For example ,when I said the word “vote”, it sounded like “bout”
برای مثال، زمانیکه کلمه "vote" رو میگفتم، صدایی مانند "bout" میداد (تلفظ میشد)
And when I said the word “late”, it sounded like "rate
و وقتی کلمه "late" رو میگفتم، صدایی مثل "rate" میداد
One day I decided to look for some volunteer work
یک روز تصمیم گرفتم دنبال کار داوطلبانه بگردم
I went to the tourist center in Toronto to ask for information about volunteering
برای خواستن اطلاعات درباره داوطلب شدن به مرکز جهانگردی تورنتو رفتم
“can I help you?” the woman at the tourist center asked
زن در مرکز جهانگردی پرسید :می تونم کمکتون کنم؟
“yes I’m looking for some volunteer work” I replied
جواب دادم: بله, من دنبال کار داوطلبانه هستم
Unfortunately, I pronounced the word “volunteer” ;like “brounteer
متاسفانه, کلمه "volunteer" رو مثل "brounteer" تلفظ کردم
