خب در مورد اون بازی هایی که تو ترجمه شون مشکل داشتیم دوباره از خود خارجی ها سوال کردم و نتیجه:
ProStreet
نقل قول:
However with regards to ProStreet, yes, it does refer to pressional street racing so basically option 2.
همونطور که می بینید به خیابون رونی حرفه ای گفته میشه...پس اینجا اشتباه کردم.. به شخص گفته نمیشه..
" خیابون رونی حرفه ای" شما اگه تونستین بهترشو بگین.
در مورد Airbender:
نقل قول:
it's more control of the element called air, well usually wind, but in this case air
.
به کنترل عناصری از قبیل باد یا هوا میگن... که اینجا باد مد نظره.
یه جای دیگه هم گفته بود که میشه از airtaimer هم استفاده کرد.. یعنی رام کننده هوا..
چی عنوانی رو براش انتخاب کنیم ؟
در مورد Day of the Tentacle
نقل قول:
Yep... in this case, Tentacle is a name... and thus you need to translate the Purple Tentacle name... then use a part of it for the game name.
میگه.. تو این مورد tentacle اسمه پس بهتره که Purple Tentacle رو ترجمه کنی.. (مثلا همون چیزی که من گفتم.. شاخک ارغوانی)
Tekken
نقل قول:
Mmm... as for Tekken, after seeing that Kanji, I think I get it now.
"Tek" seems like a combination of "metal" and "hard," and if I'm guessing it right, that doesn't mean Iron at all, but more like "invincible" or "unbeatable." Asians believed that anything that was "metal" and "hard" were "invincible."
As for "Ken," the name doesn't necessarily mean "fist," but rather a martial art. How should I put it? Mmm... "ken" could mean anything from a "punch" to a "poke" literally, and thus... "fist," which forces the hand into the stance of a "punch" does not quite describe all of it. "Ken" would most likely describe a fighting style that involves the use of the hands more than anything else... but the hands do not need to "fist" up when the fighter uses that style. For example, the Snake style doesn't require your hands to fist up much... or at all... yet it's still a "ken." Mm... if I am to translate Tekken into English right now, I'd say that it should be "Art of the Invincible Hands" rather than "Iron Fist."This game also has a name in Vietnamese (my first language) now that I remember it... it was called "Thiết Quyền," and with the knowledge I have of my own language, I can tell you that it's at least... like that to some degree.
P.S.: Yeah... and if you ask me, "kung fu" doesn't mean "martial art" or "fighting style" nor is it related to fighting or dancing at all. It just means... "hard-trained."
Edit: Note to self: Japanese also has Kanji... and I know at least half of that...
ببینید چقدر حرفه ای معنی تکن رو توضیح داده.. من حال و حوصله ترجمه شو ندارم. زیاد هم سخت نیست. خودتون بخونید. در کل تکن یعنی "دستان آهنین"...
در مورد Neverhood
neverhood is more like... mm... this one is hard to explain. It's intended to be a pun. Like... neighborhood is
نقل قول:
an area (mostly urban and suburban); brotherhood refers to an organization or group of people who are brothers spiritually; childhood refers to a person's time as a child; likelihood refers to the chances of something. I think neverhood would most likely mean the impossibility of something... though I'm still not sure.
میگه Neverhood بیشتر شبیه. . .. اااا ه... این یکی توضیحش سخته.. انگار باید جناس باشه. (چند تا مثال از brotherhood و neighborhood و childhood و likelihood زد و بیشتر ربطش داد به همین آخری و گفت. )
the impossibility of something
امکان ناپذیری یا عدم امکان چیزی.. (البته خودش کاملا مطمئن نیست ولی همین معنی رو میرسونه)
چی ترجمه ش می کنید ؟ آیا ازل همینو میرسونه ؟
در مورد The Witcher
نقل قول:
Well... employer is the one who employs, employee is the one who is employed. If they are using witch as a verb here (for the Witcher), I'd think... it's someone who witches the others. Go look up "witch" as a verb and see what it means. I know it can be used as a verb.
.... اگه witch رو به عنوان فعل استفاده کرده باشن اینجا می تونی به این معنی باشه که کسی که دیگران رو جادو می کنه و .. . که اینطوری ترجمه میشه... "جادو کننده".. که با جادوگر فرقی نداره..
Hunter: The Reckoning Wayward
یکی بهم گفت که اشتباه خوندی و اینطوری نوشته میشه... Hunter: The Reckoning: Wayward
یکی دیگه اومد اینجوری بهم گفت.. گفتش که تا حالا Mission Impossible رو شنیده بودی ؟
(می دونید که اگه بخوایم ترجمه کنیم میشه... غیر ممکن ماموریت).. بهم گفت که صورت نوشتاری کلمات تو زبان انگلیسی متفاوته..
Mortal Kombat
نقل قول:
Again... pun. Also, maybe it has something to do with a character being named Kain... and how they don't want to get in trouble with churches because that may refer to the "Cain and Abel" story.
گفت که دوباره جناسه.. میگه شاید ربطی هم به شخصیت Kain داشته باشه و نمی خواستن به مسائل مربوط به کلیسا ربط پیدا کنه به جای Cain از Kain استفاده کردن... منظورش "هابیل و قابیل" بود. .. Cain and Abel
Viewtiful Joe
نقل قول:
Pun, too. In the game, the character is viewed a lot, and rated based on what the viewers say... so... yea.
دقیقا همون توضیحاتی که من دادم. بازم جناسه.
و بالاخره: CRYSIS
یکی اومد دقیقا حرف مهدی رو تائید کرد:
نقل قول:
Crytek is the name of the studio, everything they do is named with "cry" somewhere in the title.
در مورد حرف من گفتش که:
یه particle accelerator ه.. یعنی یه شتاب دهنده.
و اما نفر سوم اومد گفت که ممکنه که کرایسس به معنی بحران نباشه و داره در مورد دنیایی در کرایسس صحبت می کنه و می تونه به معنی بحران هم باشه.
نقل قول:
Heck... maybe "World in Crysis" would just mean... the world in Crysis and not the world in a crisis
.
به هر حال من با همونی موافقم که معنی بحران میده به خاطر شرکت Crytech
در کل اسم این بازی میشه...
بهران.. که دقیقا از لحاظ معنی و تلفظ همون بحرانه...
