ویندوز 8.1 و بازگشت دکمه استارت
امشب مایکروسافت در کنفرانس Build 2013، از نسخه پیش نمایش عمومی ویندوز 8.1 رونمایی خواهد کرد. اما به لطف عرضه ویندوز سرور Server 2012 R2 در روز گذشته، چشممان به جمال دکمه Start در بازگشت دوباره اش به محیط ویندوز روشن شده.

خبر بد برای کسانی که دکمه قدیمی استارت با شکل و شمایل خاصش را می خواهند این است که آن روزها دیگر گذشته، دکمه جدید ساده و سرراست، ولی دربردارنده عملکردهایی است که معمولا در محیط دسکتاپ به کار می آیند.
با راست کلیک روی دکمه استارت جدید، نواری مشابه بخش سمت راست تصویر بالا را خواهید داشت که در آن دسترسی سریع به بخش هایی نظیر کنترل پنل، جستجو، سیستم، فایل اکسپلورر، و غیره فراهم می شود. همچنین امکان خاموش یا ری استارت کردن پی سی را نیز خواهید داشت.
کلیک چپ بر روی دکمه استارت همچنان شما را به صفحه استارت با طراحی مدرن و پر از کاشی اش خواهد برد، اما اضافه شدن کلیک راست کمک زیادی می کند.
قابلیت های دیگری نظیر شخصی سازی دکمه استارت، یا غیر فعال کردن امکانات ویژه مربوط به گوشه بالا-چپ و گوشه بالا-راست نمایشگر (جا به جایی بین وظایف و نوار چارمز) نیز اضافه شده اند. همچنین امکان بوت کردن سیستم عامل به محیط دسکتاپ نیز وجود دارد.
