Collection of programs from the developer Ansoft, intended primarily for design and simulation of electrical circuits. In the assembly includes programs such as: Maxwell 12.2, Optimetrics, RMxprt, Maxwell Circuit Editor, Simplorer and Q3D Extractor. A detailed description of each is presented below.
Maxwell - is the leading software for modeling electromagnetic fields used for the design and study of two-and three-dimensional models, such as motors, sensors, transformers and other electrical and electromechanical devices for various applications. Maxwell is based on the finite element method (Finite Element Method - FEM) and accurately calculates the static, harmonic electromagnetic and electrical fields, as well as transients in field problems.
Optimetrics - More versatile program, which adds to the draft parametric optimization, statistical analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
RMxprt - a program that accelerates the process of design and optimization of rotating electrical machines. RMxprt uses classical analytical theory of electric machines and method of equivalent magnetic circuit for calculating the performance of the machine.
Maxwell Circuit Editor - a program for designing electrical circuits, which is used in the problems of transient Maxwell.
Simplorer - is software for modeling electromechanical systems, creating a complete electromechanical laboratory on the desktop. Simplorer includes programs for modeling of electric circuits and block diagrams. The components of the projects Simplorer can be a model created in Ansoft Maxwell, Q3D Extractor, RMxprt, PExprt. In 8-th version appeared a new generation interface (similar to the new interface Maxwell). Added new dynamic coupling with Maxwell/RMxprt/Q3D Extractor.
Q3D Extractor - the software to determine the parameters of the parasitic elements in electronic circuits. It is used in the design of passive components on chip, multi-layer printed circuit boards, etc. Q3D Extractor performs 2D and 3D electromagnetic field simulation required to extract the RLC-parameters, connected to a feeding scheme and automatically generates equivalent circuit replacement.
