تاریخچه ورود و منتاژ وانت جونیور در ایران:
1970- Assembly of Nissan Junior Pick-up with 2000 engine and 3800 Kg capacity (G.V.W.) under license of Nissan Japan was started in Zamyad.
1984- Assembly of Nissan Pickup 2000 were transferred to Saipa.
1985- Nissan agreement concerning the power train project were including machining and assembling of engine axles and transmissions of new Z-24 engines of 2400cc series were started in Zamyad and new modes of Nissan Junior pick up 140 and 160 models with Z-24 engines were started in Saipa and the said engines were assembled in Zamyad.
1987- Formal assembly and installation facilities of Z-24 engines of Nissan were started in Zamyad for the production
of 140models of Z24 engines assembly lines for the Nissan Patrols 4×4 at Pars Khodro Company. At the same time assembly lines of 6 cylinder engines of 160 model Nissan Patrol (P-40 model engine) for the Pars Khodro Company were Started at Zamyad .
1989- Machining lines of camshaft, exhaust manifold and intake manifolds were started Zamyad for the Nissan Patrol 160 models.
1990- Machining and assembling of Paykan Transmissions for the Iran Khodro Company were started at Zamyad.
1993- Machining and Assembly lines of Nissan Patrols and also Paykan transmission lines were separated from Zamyad in the name of Megamotors as a separate company.
1998- The assembly lines of Nissan Z24 pick ups were transferred again from Saipa to Zamyad. Through successful localization plans, Zamyad could manufacture parts and components through Sazegostar company of Saipa and no longer affiliated with Nissan. Therefore after transferring the assembly line from the Saipa, within a five years strategic planning, localizations were achieved following the previous programs up to 100% completely.
2002- Manufacturing of pick-up and sales as a one hundred percent homegrown vehicle with a new name of Z24 (N) pick up were started in Zamyad separately . Also , all after sales services and grants of distributors and dealerships were legally transferred to Zamyad independent from Saipa.
2003- Common platform of Zamyad Z24 (F) type pick up with the same chassis power train an different cab was introduced through the R&D department and, successfully, were started as a formal assembly line in 2004.
2004- Common platform of Zamyad 24(N) type pick-ups in terms of bi-fuel which means gasoline and C.N.G. were started as a formal line in Zamyad.
2005- Common platform of Zamyad pick up with alc which means air condition were started in Zamyad with the model Z24(N).
2006-Common platform of Zamyad chassis with Zamyad Z24 (N) injection type were started , the new production is a replacement for former carburator type and Zamyad could successfully upgrade the pollution standards of the said vehicle up to Euro II standards with fifteen percent more power and speeds of the pickup as more popular in the local and export markets.
