The Core Lab team is glad to announce the final release of Universal Data Access Components. UniDAC is an incredible solution for providing unified access to the popular database servers such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, InterBase, and Firebird.
UniDAC is a powerful library of nonvisual cross-database data access components for Delphi, Delphi for .NET, and C++Builder. It supplies a transparent server-independent interface for working with different database servers so that you can easily switch between different database servers in your cross-database UniDAC-based application.
Our product represents an efficient native alternative to the Borland Database Engine and dbExpress for access to the most popular database servers. Also it provides ability to migrate existing BDE/IBX/ADO-based applications to UniDAC in order to take advantage of server-specific features.
Now UniDAC supports environments starting with Delphi 6 (except Delphi 8) and C++Builder 6, and the newest versions of database servers. In future it will be kept in up-to-date state and its functionality will be undoubtedly enhanced and improved.
