RP-SMA
RP-SMA is probably the most frequent used connector within Wireless Networking products. Used by the vast majority of manufacturers of Routers, PCI cards and Access Points. The difference between the SMA and the RP-SMA connector is that the poles are reversed, an RP-SMA male without hole is an SMA male.

RP-TNC is a slightly larger and more stable type of connector than the RP-SMA connector. High quality products, such as Linksys and Cisco use this connector most frequently. The RP-TNC connector can be found in Linksys and Cisco Routers and Access Points. Linksys uses however RP-SMA connectors with their PCI cards.

N connector is an good old connector. Handles high power and is also very resistant to moisture. Very good for High Frequencies and Wireless Network installations. Unfortunately, this type of connector is not common with so many products for Wireless Networks. Only the most exclusive electronic products tend to have N connectors.
