کاربرایی که از توییتر استفاده میکنن ، به راحتی با این برنامه میتونن سرویس توییتر رو با موبایل بگیرن ... قابلیت هاش خیلی زیاده ، تنظیم نحوه آپدیت و تم مشکی و سفید ، اینترفیسشم فوق العادست . ( این عکس بالا دیفالته و زیاد جالب نیست ، اگر فول اسکرین کنین و تم مشکی بزارین خیلی قشنگ میشه .)

این روزها (و البته طی دو سال گذشته) هر کجا که بحث اینترنت و سایت‌های مشهور اینترنتی باشد، احتمالاً نامی از Twitter می‌شنوید. شاید سؤال کنید توئیتر چیست و چه کاری می‌توان با آن انجام داد؟

اصطلاح توئیتر از ماه مارس سال 2006 بود که با راه‌اندازی سایت Twitter.com توسط سه دوست به نام‌های Jack Dorsey, Biz Stone, و Evan Williams بر سر زبان‌ها افتاد و با سرعتی باورنکردنی دهان به دهان چرخید و چیزی نگذشت که ده‌ها سایت با خدماتی مرتبط با توئیتر افتتاح شد.

شاید هیچ کس باور نمی‌کرد سایتی که تنها یک کار ساده انجام می‌دهد، چنین طرفدار پیدا کند به طوریکه سیاستمداران، ثروتمندان، مشاهیر، کمپانی‌ها و هر کس که نان ارتباط با مخاطب را می‌خورد اعلام کند که در سایت توئیتر یک اکانت ایجاد کرده است!

آن کار ساده این بود:

ثبت کاری که هم اکنون در حال انجام آن هستید، تنها در چند کلمه!

به عبارت دیگر شما می‌توانید در هر لحظه به عنوان یادگاری ثبت کنید که هم اکنون در حال انجام چه کاری هستید؟!

یعنی به این سؤال پاسخ دهید که:

(در حال انجام چه کاری هستید؟)

به هر پستی که در سایت توئیتر ارسال می‌کنید، یک توئیت می‌گویند و به عمل ارسال یک پست، توئیت کردن.

به طور مثال،‌ به توئیت‌های اخیر من نگاه کنید:



- در کنار این کار ساده، چیزی که بیش از همه، توئیتر را محبوب کرد، امکان « دنبال کردن » (Following) افراد دیگر و یا « دنبال شدن » توسط افراد دیگر (Follwer) بود. اگر یک دوست را دنبال کنید، می‌توانید توئیت‌های او را در حساب کاربری خود مشاهده کنید.

حالا تصور کنید شخص مهمی مثل «پیر امیدیار» یا بسیاری از شخصیت‌های مهم دیگر را Follow کنید. جالب است که بدانید در طی روز چه کارهایی انجام می‌دهد.

- این‌ها تنها مواردی نبودند که به توئیتر کمک کردند که خود را بین چهارصد سایت اول دنیا مشاهده کند، توئیتر APIهایی برای سایت خود گسترش داد که به برنامه‌نویسان این امکان را می‌داد که برای سایتش برنامه‌های مورد کاربران را بنویسند. به همین دلیل هر روز سایت‌های مختلفی راه‌اندازی می‌شوند که به روش‌های مختلف امکان ارسال و یا مشاهده توئیت‌های شما را می‌دهند.

به طور مثال ده تا از مهم‌ترین سایت‌های مرتبط با توئیتر را می‌توانید در این پست مشاهده کنید.

- علاوه بر این،‌ توئیتر امکان توئیت کردن از طریق موبایل را نیز فراهم کرده است و این یعنی توئیتر همیشه همراه کاربرانش خواهد بود.

- این روزها توئیتر نه تنها یک سایت ثبت خاطره، بلکه به سایتی جهت انجام فعالیت‌های علمی، به اشتراک گذاشتن ایده‌ها، حتی گزارش زنده مسابقات فوتبال و بسیاری فعالیت‌های جذاب دیگر تبدیل شده است.

- بر اساس آمار توئیت‌ها، دنبال کنندگان و دنبال شوندگان، هر روز نتایج جالبی منتشر می‌شود.



توئیتر تا چه اندازه موفق بوده است؟

1pezeshk.com می‌نویسد: سال ۲۰۰۸، سال توییتر بود. بر اساس آمار comScore، تعداد بازدیدکننده‌های آمریکایی این سایت در ماه اکتبر به ۱/۴۵ میلیون نفر رسید. این در حالی بود که آمار بازدید جهانی این سایت در ماه سپتامبر، ۵/۶ میلیون نفر بود.

در سال ۲۰۰۸، تعداد بازدیدکنندگان سایت توییتر، ۱۶ برابر شد. توجه داشته باشید که این آمار صرفا مربوط به بازدید از خود سایت توییتر است و اگر آمار مربوط به توییت‌های درج شده در سایت‌ها و یا به عمل آماده با برنامه‌های دسکتاپ را در نظر بگیریم، به آمار بسیار بالاتری می‌رسیم. سال قبل تعداد توییت‌های انجام شده، از مرز یک میلیارد گذشت.

چند روز پیش اعلام شد که برای اولین بار تعداد بازدید از سایت توییتر از سایت دیگ هم پیشی گرفته است.

پس با توجه به چنین اعداد و آمار درخشانی بی‌جهت نیست که ارزش مادی توییتر بسیار بالا رفته باشد. گفته می‌شود که به تازگی فیس‌بوک، نیم میلیارد دلار برای خرید توییتر پیشنهاد کرده است.

در حال حاضر ارزش توییتر ۲۵۰ میلیون دلار برآورد می‌شود.
