افزودنی جدیدی با نام Bokeh از شرکت خوش‌نام Alien Skin بزودی عرضه خواهد شد که کارش از نامش مشخص است: شبیه‌سازی بوکه.
آنگونه که در سایت Alien Skin گفته شده است، این نرم‌افزار با استفاده از محاسبات رباضی می‌تواند بوکه های بسیار واقعی را شبیه سازی کند که تاکنون از عهده نرم‌افزارها خارج بوده است. کنترلهای مختلفی در ابزار موجود است تا عکاس بتواند افکت مورد نظرش را رندر کند. کنترل‌هایی مانند تعداد تیغه دیافراگم، میزان انحنا و حتی میزان Creaminess ( یا بهتر بگوییم، میزان کره‌ای شدن!).
این نرم‌افزار دارای تنظیم‌های از پیش آماده‌ای برای لنزهای معروفی مانند Canon 85mm f1.2 و Nikon 105mm f2.8 است.
Finally, you can manipulate focus just like fast expensive lenses with Bokeh, Alien Skin’s lens simulator Photoshop plug-in. Bokeh can draw attention to your subject by manipulating focus and depth of field after the shot has been taken. From changing the depth of field to placing a radial sweet spot and adding a vignette, Bokeh provides many techniques for realistic blurring and altering the mood of a scene. Bokeh is the only software that accurately simulates the distinctive blurring and creamy highlights of real lenses.
