يكي از قابليتهاي ويندوز ويستا كه خيلي هم مفيد و مورد استفاده ميباشد قابليت ReadyBoost است كه با استفاده از اين امكان براي بالا بردن سرعت سيستم ميتوانيد از يك كول ديسك جهت شبيه سازي يك حافظه كش موقت استفاده نماييد .
با استفاده از نرم افزار eBoostr اين قابليت را ميتوانيد به ويندوز اكس پي اضافه نماييد.
