برای نصب نرم افزارها در سیستم عامل های مختلف هميشه به يک نرم افزار Installer و يا نصب کننده ی قدرتمند نياز است . در سيستم عامل ويندوز برای نرم افزارهای کوچک معمولا از Installer های Inno Setup و Windows Installer و ... و برای نصب نرم افزار های بزرگ و سنگين مخصوصا بازيها از نرم افزار قدرتمند Install Shield استفاده می شود . InstallAnywhere نام نرم افزاری از شرکت Zero G Software می باشد که يک Installer قدرتمند و با ويژگی های فراوان می باشد که مهمترين آنها سازگاری با بسياری از سيستم عامل ها از قبيل ويندوز و Linux و Unix و IBM و بسياری ديگر است . توانايی ساخت Installer هايی با فرمت Windows Installer( MSI) و محيط آسان از ويژگی های ديگر اين نرم افزار است .
