Hi guys
I can give you some advice about choosing book for self study about some different aspects of learning English.
But before all, I need to know what your LEVEL is.
Elementary, Pre-intermediate, Intermediate, Upper-intermediate, or Advance???
For Instance , If you are at intermediate level (also Upper or Pre) you can take advantage of VOCABULARY IN USE series. Those are very suitable.
Using OXFORD PICTURE DICTIONARY can learn you many words that other vocabulary builders and vocabulary organizers cant.
If you are studying at advance level , anything is not as effective as VERBAL ADVANTAGE.

?actually i m not a manager but i should tell you that dont write in persian again understand
I didn't know about the rules, I should have read them before, I apologize and I will not write in Farsi again, unless I can change the rules.
regarding what you wrote, I suggest not to use the word " understand?" in this way, it sounds unnecessarily impolite.

Hi
I confirm p3yman's way, but you can try to write your recorded news on the piece of a paper for further help. I've tried it myself and it really works, believe me. even one sentence that you right will help you to understand the news. and try to complete your passage gradually. after finishing it you'll understand how easy was the news! listening to VOA Special English is useful also
dearHamyion,
of course writing what you are hearing , makes you, understand it better and easier, but in this way you don't improve your listening skills, you just help your ears and your short term memory by writing it on paper, it doesn't improve your listening skills for the next subject.
I believe it'll be much nicer if you try to repeat and then compare what you are repeating with the original script, .

Hello there.
I need a help . I already finished studying all of the new interchange books series. Red , blue and green ones. I studied them for about 4 years, In home and in language schools. But unfortunately I have studied them temporarily .I mean not permanently . I had just studied English in summers and then I gave it up until next season.
And know I find many weaknesses in my English knowledge. and I want to start a new books or new way To help me improve all of the aspects of English language (reading, writing, speaking, listening). From time to time I decide to go back and study new interchange book series again but I found it boring and I just waste my time.
So what your idea now?please suggest me a good and useful English book, like streamline or new interchange. I ll be glad to know your ideas and apply your recommendations.
thanks a lot:10:

Dear 0o1
If you want to learn English well you have to study hard and continously. I mean studying just for 3 month a year won't work well. I suggest you continue going to classes for the whole year and you'll see that your english will improve to a great degree.

Yeah , this would work too. You can do these jobs in order to improve your listening while you're reading some well written books. If you are looking for a complete reference of english grammar , I think the ILI's pre-TOEFL books will help you.
You can buy the complete series of this book from the ILI's central shop in Tehran. The serie contains structure, vocabulary, writing, reading and listening books.

Dear o01
First of all I should say; I like your signature, the story of living in hope of course is more pleasurable than living in worry.
I believe when we have nothing, we have nothing to lose, no fear and no worry.
The story of the man you mentioned proves that living to gain more, to have more and to get more is wrong, we should try to be better and to learn more. That's the true key to happiness.
Regarding your question, I have my own idea and I am gonna explain it for you:
First be proud of yourself, because you don't have enough time, but you try your best to improve your English. It is not necessary to go to English Institute to improve your English, nor it is a use to get a private teacher, the most important thing in learning English is having ambitious.
You should try to find reasons to improve your English, I give you some suggestions and some books of course.
To improve your motivation you may:
1- Get a pen pal and email her/him every day, in this way you feel more bound to study more.
2- 2- Make some difficult topics and try to describe them as well as you can.
3- Get some freshmen students in English and teach them English!
To improve your English, surprisingly the best reference for you is not any book, but OXFORD STUDENT"S DICTIONARY.
Use this book with the following methods to improve your accuracy, fluency and complexity at the same time.
There are some words which have got stars (*), this words are essential to learn, but you shouldn't memorize them, you should use them!
Read one example and then try to say it ( say, don't write) in another way, for example:
ABORT:
The company aborted the project when they realized it was costing too much>
You read it and then you try to say it in another way ( the same meaning but another sentence)>
After the company got to know that the project is not profitable and it costs more than what it's worth, they decided to cancel the process.
Dear o01, I hope this method help you enough to learn all the essential vacab you need and help you say what you mean in correct way.
Best luck

Hi
I am translating a book.
I need your help.
Can anyone Correct my translation? Please? :27:
His dad had the pickup going. He could get up now. Jess slid out of bed and into his overalls. He didn't worry
about a shirt because once he began running he would be hot as popping grease even if the
morning air was chill, or shoes because the bottoms of his feet were by now as tough as his
worn-out sneakers.
"Where you going, Jess?" May Belle lifted herself up sleepily from the double bed where
she and Joyce Ann slept.
"Sh." He warned. The walls were thin. Momma would he mad as flies in a fruit jar if they
woke her up this time of day
He patted May Belle's hair and yanked the twisted sheet up to her small chin. "Just over
the cow field," he whispered. May Belle smiled and snuggled down under the sheet.
"Gonna run?"
"Maybe."
Of course he was going to run. He had gotten up early every day all summer to run. He
figured if he worked at it - and Lord, had he worked-he could be the fastest runner in the fifth
grade when school opened up. He had to be the fastest-not one of the fastest or next to the
fastest, but the fastest. The very best.
He tiptoed out of the house. The place was so ratty that it screeched whenever you put
your foot down, but Jess had found that if you tiptoed, it gave only a low moan, and he could
usually get outdoors without waking Momma or Ellie or Brenda or Joyce Ann. May Belle was
another matter. She was going on seven, and she worshiped him, which was OK sometimes.
When you were the only boy smashed between four sisters, and the older two had despised
you ever since you stopped letting them dress you up and wheel you around in their rusty old
doll carriage, and the littlest one cried if you looked at her cross-eyed, it was nice to have
somebody who worshiped you. Even if it got unhandy sometimes.
He began to trot across the yard. His breath was coming out in little puffs-cold for
August. But it was early yet. By noontime when his mom would have him out working, it
would be hot enough.
Miss Bessie stared at him sleepily as he climbed across the scrap heap, over the fence,
and into the cow field. "Moo," she said, looking for all the world like another May Belle with
her big, brown droopy eyes.
"Hey, Miss Bessie," Jess said soothingly. "Just go on back to sleep."
Miss Bessie strolled over to a greenish patch - most of the field was brown and dry - and
yanked up a mouthful.
"That'a girl. Just eat your breakfast. Don't pay me no mind."
He always started at the northwest corner of the field, crouched over like the runners he
had seen on Wide World of Sports.
"Bang," he said, and took off flying around the cow field. Miss Bessie strolled toward the
center, still following him with her droopy eyes, chewing slowly. She didn't look very smart,
even for a cow, but she was plenty bright enough to get out of Jess's way.
His straw-colored hair flapped hard against his forehead, and his arms and legs flew out
every which way. He had never learned to run properly, but he was long-legged for a ten-
year-old, and no one had more grit than he.

Dear friend Ill be glad if I could help you.
First paragraph of your translation has some common mistakes in it.
It's better to tell
"او حالا میتوانست بیدار شود"
than
"او حالا میتوانست بلند شود".
"Jess slid out of bed and into his overalls" means "Jess slid out of his bed and slid into his overalls" so its meaning will be
"از تختش پایین پرید و لباسهای کارش را پوشید".
Another point is in the following sentence:
"He didn't worry about a shirt because once he began running he would be hot as popping grease even if the morning air was chill"
The translation can be :
"نگران پوشیدن پیراهن نبود چون با دویدن ، بدنش در سرمای صبح مثل روغن داغ ، گرم میشد"
May Belle is a person's name so you should write it as
"می بل"
not
"بل"
I'll try to read the rest of it and make some corrections if I had time.
Nice job your overall translation is not bad.
Keep going
thanks a lot my friend
please help me with the rest of it.
peyman1987
15-09-2007, 19:10
It's not neccessary to translate the exact sentence , you can change the structure but save the meaning like the following paragraph:
"Sh. He warned. The walls were thin. Momma would he mad as flies in a fruit jar if they woke her up this time of day"
"او به می بل اشاره کرد که ساکت باشد چون ضخامت دیوارها کم بود و شاید مادر بیدار میشد. اگر باعث بیدار شدن مادر در این ساعت میشدند ، مادر مانند مگسهای سرگردان درون ظرف میوه عصبانی میشد."
A sentence's meaning can vary with changing just a little word so try not to omit even a preposition:
"البته که او قصد دویدن داشت"
Try to be carefull in using pronouns. It's not correct to say:
"او حساب كرد که اگر او اين كار را انجام دهد"
The correct form is :
"طبق محاسباتش اگر این کار را انجام میداد"
The following sentence is not grammatically wrong but my feeling says there's something wrong with the meaning , so maybe we can make it better by changing it a little bit:
"او داشت هفت ساله مي شد و جس را مي پرستيد، كه بعضى وقتهاى خيلى خوب بود."
Better be replaced by:
"او داشت هفت ساله میشد و علاقه شدیدی به جس داشت. این موضوع در برخی از مواقع اشکالی نداشت."
در مورد همه ش حق با تو بود
ولی این آخری می خوام یه چیزی بیشتر از علاقه ی شدید باشه
پیشنهادت چیه؟
راستی خیلی خیلی خیلی خیلی خیلی خیلی ممنون که کمک می کنی
peyman1987

Dear dogtag:
Isn't it better to write in english here. This will improve our english so I want you to write in english and not in farsi.
About you're last post maybe we can say :
"او داشت هفت ساله میشد و جس را شدیدا میپرستید."
About the following sentence a feeling tells me that you havn't found out the exact meaning:
"He began to trot across the yard. His breath was coming out in little puffs-cold for August."
"او به آرامی شروع به دویدن در حیاط کرد. نفسهایش بخاطر سرمای ماه آگوست با بخار از دهانش خارج میشدند."
This one could be traslated in a better way:
"Miss Bessie stared at him sleepily as he climbed across the scrap heap, over the fence, and into the cow field."
"خانم بسی با چشمهای خواب آلود جسی را که از توده آهنهای اسقاطی بالا رفت و داخل مزرعه گاوها پرید ، تماشا میکرد."
Do not forget to write in English next time:D
peyman1987
16-09-2007, 21:14
Another mistake :
"خانم بسي در چرا گاه مايل به سبزي ول مي گشت - بيشتر مزرعه قهوه اي و خشک بود - و يک لقمه را جويد."
The correct form is :
"خانم بسی به سمت قطعه ای سبز اط چراگاه ( بیشتر چراگاه زرد شده بود ) رفت و تکه ای از علفهای سبز را کند و مشغول جویدن شد."
That's a girl means:
"به این میگن دختر خوب"
not
"او یک دختره"
The rest of translation is not that much bad. But remember that it's not necessary to translate the sentence word by word.
You can change the form of the sentence the way you like but try not to change the meaning of it. That's why a translator should be
a good writer in order to be able to make the same story in his language. So try not to translate the sentence word by word. First read the whole sentence
then explain what you get from the sentence in persian.
Sorry to bother
Thanks in advance my Friend!

Subject: why living abroad?
Recently, leaving Iran to live in other countries is one of the major issues to talk about. I know many people who abandoned their work, their family and every thing to migrate to a developed country like as Australia.
But why it happens, why Iranian people prefer to lose every thing and start again abroad.
Some people believe inflation and lack of job security is the main reason for this act, but I myself think it is more than this.
I believe Lack of security is merely one the reasons, we should consider freedom of speech as another, weather pollution and lack of welfare could be other reasons.
The point is, when you are leaving Iran, if you are really facing a better future?
Living abroad means living in a country which is not yours, you are a foreigner and it doesn’t matter what you do, you always feel you miss your own land.
In order to have a good life in Australia, you should work full time and you should try to compete with many good other immigrants, perhaps you should allocate more time to upgrade your knowledge and you will be rewarded by more income and approaching basic needs such as accommodation which are hard to obtain in Tehran.
Some people believe if potential migrants would try as good they want to do abroad, in their own country, they could be rewarded even better.
What we really need is not leaving our country, but it is to believe our country.
Government as ruling system has a vital role in this aspect, what we hope to achieve is result of interaction between the government and people.
The question is " do we really serve it as we can?" or as we should?
And this is the question I rather leave for you to think about.

Do you mean you want an idea for a story?? Or do you want a whole story to present to your teacher at the university?
You can find thousands of English stories using Google and searching for example "English short stories" for instance
A Coward
Guy de Maupassant
Society called him Handsome Signoles. His name was Viscount Gontran-Joseph de Signoles.
An orphan, and possessed of an adequate income, he cut a dash, as the saying is. He had a good figure and a good carriage, a sufficient flow of words to pass for wit, a certain natural grace, an air of nobility and pride, a gallant moustache and an eloquent eye, attributes which women like.
He was in demand in drawing-rooms, sought after for valses, and in men he inspired that smiling hostility which is reserved for vital and attractive rivals. He had been suspected of several love-affairs of a sort calculated to create a good opinion of a youngster. He lived a happy, care-free life, in the most complete well-being of body and mind. He was known to be a fine swordsman and a still finer shot with the pistol.
"When I come to fight a duel," he would say, "I shall choose pistols. With that weapon, I'm sure of killing my man."
One evening, he went to the theatre with two ladies, quite young, friends of his, whose husbands were also of the party, and after the performance he invited them to take ices at Tortoni's.
They had been sitting there for a few minutes when he noticed a gentleman at a neighbouring table staring obstinately at one of the ladies of the party. She seemed embarrassed and ill at ease, and bent her head. At last she said to her husband:
"There's a man staring at me. I don't know him; do you?"
The husband, who had seen nothing, raised his eyes, but declared:
"No, not in the least."
Half smiling, half in anger, she replied:
"It's very annoying; the creature's spoiling my ice."
Her husband shrugged his shoulders.
"Deuce take him, don't appear to notice it. If we had to deal with all the discourteous people one meets, we'd never have done with them."
But the Viscount had risen abruptly. He could not permit this stranger to spoil an ice of his giving. It was to him that the insult was addressed, since it was at his invitation and on his account that his friends had come to the cafe. The affair was no business of anyone but himself.
He went up to the man and said:
"You have a way of looking at those ladies, sir, which I cannot stomach. Please be so good as to set a limit to your persistence."
"You hold your tongue," replied the other.
"Take care, sir," retorted the Viscount, clenching his teeth;" you'll force me to overstep the bounds of common politeness."
The gentleman replied with a single word, a vile word which rang across the cafe from one end to the other, and, like the release of a spring, jerked every person present into an abrupt movement. All those with their backs towards him turned round, all the rest raised their heads; three waiters spun round on their heels like tops; the two ladies behind the counter started, then the whole upper half of their bodies twisted round, as though they were a couple of automata worked by the same handle.
There was a profound silence. Then suddenly a sharp noise resounded in the air. The Viscount had boxed his adversary's ears. Every one rose to intervene. Cards were exchanged.
Back in his home, the Viscount walked for several minutes up and down his room with long quick strides. He was too excited to think. A solitary idea dominated his mind: "a duel"; but as yet the idea stirred in him no emotion of any kind. He had done what he was compelled to do; he had shown himself to be what he ought to be. People would talk of it, would approve of him, congratulate him. He repeated aloud, speaking as a man speaks in severe mental distress:
"What a hound the fellow is!"
Then he sat down and began to reflect. In the morning he must find seconds. Whom should he choose? He searched his mind for the most important and celebrated names of his acquaintance. At last he decided on the Marquis de la Tour-Noire and Colonel Bourdin, an aristocrat and a soldier; they would do excellently. Their names would look well in the papers. He realised that he was thirsty, and drank three glasses of water one after the other; then he began to walk up and down again. He felt full of energy. If he played the gallant, showed himself determined, insisted on the most strict and dangerous arrangements, demanded a serious duel, a thoroughly serious duel, a positively terrible duel, his adversary would probably retire an apologist.
He took up once more the card which he had taken from his pocket and thrown down upon the table, and read it again as he had read it before, in the cafe, at a glance, and in the cab, by the light of each gas-lamp, on his way home.
"Georges Lamil, 51 rue Moncey." Nothing more.
He examined the grouped letters; they seemed to him mysterious, full of confused meaning. Georges Lamil? Who was this man? What did he do? Why had he looked at the woman in that way? Was it not revolting that a stranger, an unknown man, could thus disturb a man's life, without warning, just because he chose to fix his insolent eyes upon a woman? Again the Viscount repeated aloud:
"What a hound!"
Then he remained standing stock-still, lost in thought, his eyes still fixed upon the card. A fury against this scrap of paper awoke in him, a fury of hatred in which was mingled a queer sensation of uneasiness. This sort of thing was so stupid! He took up an open knife which lay close at hand and thrust it through the middle of the printed name, as though he had stabbed a man.
So he must fight. Should he choose swords or pistols?--for he regarded himself as the insulted party. With swords there would be less risk, but with pistols there was a chance that his adversary might withdraw. It is very rare that a duel with swords is fatal, for mutual prudence is apt to restrain combatants from engaging at sufficiently close quarters for a point to penetrate deeply. With pistols he ran a grave risk of death; but he might also extricate himself from the affair with all the honours of the situation and without actually coming to a meeting.
"I must be firm," he said. "He will take fright."
The sound of his voice set him trembling, and he looked round. He felt very nervous. He drank another glass of water, then began to undress for bed.
As soon as he was in bed, he blew out the light and closed his eyes.
"I've the whole of to-morrow," he thought, "in which to set my affairs in order. I'd better sleep now, so that I shall be quite calm."
He was very warm in the blankets, but he could not manage to compose himself to sleep. He turned this way and that, lay for five minutes upon his back, turned on to his left side, then rolled over on to his right.
He was still thirsty. He got up to get a drink. A feeling of uneasiness crept over him:
"Is it possible that I'm afraid?"
Why did his heart beat madly at each familiar sound in his room? When the clock was about to strike, the faint squeak of the rising spring made him start; so shaken he was that for several seconds afterwards he had to open his mouth to get his breath.
He began to reason with himself on the possibility of his being afraid.
"Shall I be afraid?"
No, of course he would not be afraid, since he was resolved to see the matter through, and had duly made up his mind to fight and not to tremble. But he felt so profoundly distressed that he wondered:
"Can a man be afraid in spite of himself?"
He was attacked by this doubt, this uneasiness, this terror; suppose a force more powerful than himself, masterful, irresistible, overcame him, what would happen? Yes, what might not happen? Assuredly he would go to the place of the meeting, since he was quite ready to go. But supposing he trembled? Supposing he fainted? He thought of the scene, of his reputation, his good name.
There came upon him a strange need to get up and look at himself in the mirror. He relit his candle. When he saw his face reflected in the polished glass, he scarcely recognised it, it seemed to him as though he had never yet seen himself. His eyes looked to him enormous; and he was pale; yes, without doubt he was pale, very pale.
He remained standing in front of the mirror. He put out his tongue, as though to ascertain the state of his health, and abruptly the thought struck him like a bullet:
"The day after to-morrow, at this very hour, I may be dead."
His heart began again its furious beating.
"The day after to-morrow, at this very hour, I may be dead. This person facing me, this me I see in the mirror, will be no more. Why, here I am, I look at myself, I feel myself alive, and in twenty-four hours I shall be lying in that bed, dead, my eyes closed, cold, inanimate, vanished."
He turned back towards the bed, and distinctly saw himself lying on his back in the very sheets he had just left. He had the hollow face of a corpse, his hands had the slackness of hands that will never make another movement.
At that he was afraid of his bed, and, to get rid of the sight of it, went into the smoking-room. Mechanically he picked up a cigar, lit it, and began to walk up and down again. He was cold; he went to the bell to wake his valet; but he stopped, even as he raised his hand to the rope.
"He will see that I am afraid."
He did not ring; he lit the fire. His hands shook a little, with a nervous tremor, whenever they touched anything. His brain whirled, his troubled thoughts became elusive, transitory, and gloomy; his mind suffered all the effects of intoxication, as though he were actually drunk.
Over and over again he thought:
"What shall I do? What is to become of me?"
His whole body trembled, seized with a jerky shuddering; he got up and, going to the window, drew back the curtains.
Dawn was at hand, a summer dawn. The rosy sky touched the town, its roofs and walls, with its own hue. A broad descending ray, like the caress of the rising sun, enveloped the awakened world; and with the light, hope--a gay, swift, fierce hope--filled the Viscount's heart! Was he mad, that he had allowed himself to be struck down by fear, before anything was settled even, before his seconds had seen those of this Georges Lamil, before he knew whether he was going to fight?
He washed, dressed, and walked out with a firm step.
He repeated to himself, as he walked:
"I must be energetic, very energetic. I must prove that I am not afraid."
His seconds, the Marquis and the Colonel, placed themselves at his disposal, and after hearty handshakes discussed the conditions.
"You are anxious for a serious duel? " asked the Colonel.
"Yes, a very serious one," replied the Viscount.
"You still insist on pistols?" said the Marquis.
"Yes."
"You will leave us free to arrange the rest?"
In a dry, jerky voice the Viscount stated:
"Twenty paces; at the signal, raising the arm, and not lowering it. Exchange of shots till one is seriously wounded."
"They are excellent conditions," declared the Colonel in a tone of satisfaction. "You shoot well, you have every chance."
They departed. The Viscount went home to wait for them. His agitation, momentarily quietened, was now growing minute by minute. He felt a strange shivering, a ceaseless vibration, down his arms, down his legs, in his chest; he could not keep still in one place, neither seated nor standing. There was not the least moistening of saliva in his mouth, and at every instant he made a violent movement of his tongue, as though to prevent it sticking to his palate.
He was eager to have breakfast, but could not eat. Then the idea came to him to drink in order to give himself courage, and he sent for a decanter of rum, of which he swallowed six liqueur glasses full one after the other.
A burning warmth flooded through his body, followed immediately by a sudden dizziness of the mind and spirit.
"Now I know what to do," he thought. "Now it is all right."
But by the end of an hour he had emptied the decanter, and his state of agitation had once more become intolerable. He was conscious of a wild need to roll on the ground, to scream, to bite. Night was falling.
The ringing of a bell gave him such a shock that he had not strength to rise and welcome his seconds.
He did not even dare to speak to them, to say "Good evening" to them, to utter a single word, for fear they guessed the whole thing by the alteration in his voice.
"Everything is arranged in accordance with the conditions you fixed," observed the Colonel. "At first your adversary claimed the privileges of the insulted party, but he yielded almost at once, and has accepted everything. His seconds are two military men."
"Thank you," said the Viscount.
"Pardon us," interposed the Marquis, "if we merely come in and leave again immediately, but we have a thousand things to see to. We must have a good doctor, since the combat is not to end until a serious wound is inflicted, and you know that pistol bullets are no laughing-matter. We must appoint the ground, near a house to which we may carry the wounded man if necessary, etc. In fact, we shall be occupied for two or three hours arranging all that there is to arrange."
"Thank you," said the Viscount a second time.
"You are all right?" asked the Colonel. "You are calm?"
"Yes, quite calm, thank you."
The two men retired.
When he realised that he was once more alone, he thought that he was going mad. His servant had lit the lamps, and he sat down at the table to write letters. After tracing, at the head of a sheet: "This is my will," he rose shivering and walked away, feeling incapable of connecting two ideas, of taking a resolution, of making any decision whatever.
So he was going to fight! He could no longer avoid it. Then what was the matter with him? He wished to fight, he had absolutely decided upon this plan of action and taken his resolve, and he now felt clearly, in spite of every effort of mind and forcing of will, that he could not retain even the strength necessary to get him to the place of meeting. He tried to picture the duel, his own attitude and the bearing of his adversary.
From time to time his teeth chattered in his mouth with a slight clicking noise. He tried to read, and took down Chateauvillard's code of duelling. Then he wondered:
"Does my adversary go to shooting-galleries? Is he well known? Is he classified anywhere? How can I find out?"
He bethought himself of Baron Vaux's book on marksmen with the pistol, and ran through it from end to end. Georges Lamil was not mentioned in it. Yet if the man were not a good shot, he would surely not have promptly agreed to that dangerous weapon and those fatal conditions?
He opened, in passing, a case by Gastinne Renette standing on a small table, and took out one of the pistols, then placed himself as though to shoot and raised his arm. But he was trembling from head to foot and the barrel moved in every direction.
At that, he said to himself:
"It's impossible. I cannot fight in this state."
He looked at the end of the barrel, at the little, black, deep hole that spits death; he thought of the disgrace, of the whispers at the club, of the laughter in drawing-rooms, of the contempt of women, of the allusions in the papers, of the insults which cowards would fling at him.
He was still looking at the weapon, and, raising the hammer, caught a glimpse of a cap gleaming beneath it like a tiny red flame. By good fortune or forgetfulness, the pistol had been left loaded. At the knowledge, he was filled with a confused inexplicable sense of joy.
If, when face to face with the other man, he did not show a proper gallantry and calm, he would be lost for ever. He would be sullied, branded with a mark of infamy, hounded out of society. And he would not be able to achieve that calm, that swaggering poise; he knew it, he felt it. Yet he was brave, since he wanted to fight I ... He was brave, since....
The thought which hovered in him did not even fulfil itself in his mind; but, opening his mouth wide, he thrust in the barrel of his pistol with savage gesture until it reached his throat, and pressed on the trigger.
When his valet ran in, at the sound of the report, he found him lying dead upon his back. A shower of blood had splashed the white paper on the table, and made a great red mark beneath these four words:
"This is my will."

Dear Sepid12ir,
You can talk about any matters and also avoid boring the students by using some techniques such as let them participate in the matter,...
Well, About the topic you can consider the general attitudes of the class and till now, in what matters they were interested.
Also the age and the sexuality of the class is important.
Hope to see your soonest success
Yours

Hello dear
Are you sure you want to give a lecture in English?????:31:
I'm kidding I'm sure you want us to recommend you a nice subject.
Can't you talk about you favorite subject?
The differences between old cartoons and modern animations
You can convince those old women that nowadays although visual effects have made cartoons visually attractive but when we speak about content, modern animations can not compete with old ones.
Hope you like the subject

Hi Pal, So why dun you participate in english classes?! It can be helpful! We have some english classes like Kish which has termic classes and each term finishes in 1month
:46:Watch movies and work on them, But start with animations and cartoons
:20:Read some Grammer Books and if you have any problem you can ask it in Grammer problems Topic
And also a penfriend can be helpful, You can find a penfriend who is good at english and try to send
some mails to him/her and ask him to correct yr mails and explain yr mistakes:10:
if there is any one among yr friend who is good at english you can ask them to work with you, forexample 2 or 3 hours a day and if there is no friend you can have a private teacher which is somehow expensive:31:

سلام به همه دوستان:11:
من يه پروژه دارم كه با امتحانم بايد تحويلش بدم ولي واقعا نمي دونم از كجا بايد گيرش بيارم....
موضوعش اينه:
Communicative Language Teaching is premised on the assumption that learners do not need to be taught grammar before they can communicate but will acquire it naturally as part of the process of learning to communicate. in some versions of Communicative Language Teaching, then, there is no place at all for the direct teaching of grammar
i) Do you believe that second language learning is possible with only a focus on function (communication) and no focus on form(grammar)?l
ii) why do you think that there are renewed calls for "form-focused instructions" after many years of Communicative Language Teaching?l

Lord Persia
Lord Of Persia
Lord Of Persia
Kourosh Lord (of) Persia یا Daryoush Lord (of) Persia
! (Lord Of Persia )
King Persia Or King Of Persia

Hi and welcome to the room,
I don't think that there is any software like that. you can write with fonts" Script S" and " Script C" in micro soft word and try to copy.
It's not that much complicated, you'll learn it so soon, just some rules:46:
By the way take a look at my signature:
No Persian is allowed in the forum:31:l

Don't you know the topic of your article????
What ? :18: I thought I told you several times..
Isn't this the topic of my project ?
Method of Research 2
I think there's a severe misunderstanding here..
by saying "I don't know", I didn't mean to say: I don't know what the topic of my project would be, I simply meant " I don't know what else I should say about the topic because it was clearly stated"... as simple as that...
any way...
the problem was that I couldn't make a new thread in English Article section due to the error message I explained about earlier..
BTW, I don't need it anymore because right now I called Educational Services of Tehran and got the positive answer about the letter I was waiting for and NOW... I'm in seventh heaven coze I can pass the rest 6 courses by " Introducing To A Professor" and get rid of my cruel professor once and for all....
