1. Put all 3 downloaded files (namely install.wim, boot.wim and an executable X13-49120.exe) in the same folder (for this tutorial, let’s assume the files are put on C:\ else you need to modify the path accordingly).
2. Run the X13-49120.exe executable. Windows Vista Setup Preparation will create a new folder “Vista” inside the folder and will populate the folder with all necessary Vista setup files which takes up about 2.52 GB disk space.
3. Exit from the Install Windows screen.

THE Paradox Crack:
- This only works for the 32-bit Versions of Windows Vista.
- Several user have reported that the crack gives blue screens with Nforce 4 Chipsets.

As part of a team effort, mostly as a proof of concept, the following keygen written in C++ offers an alternative to the standard slmgr.vbs-based keygen. This keygen offers the following features:
- Is NOT dependent on Vista (runs on xp, linux, etc.)
- Is faster than slmgr.vbs
- Detects valid keys for ALL versions of Vista
- Will be upgradable by replacing the dll files used
Just as a note of interest this runs FASTER on Ubuntu than Vista. That might make you think twice before getting vista...

Abit, doesn't sell notebooks and/or desktop PC's, why would they need a slic table & oem certificate for?
OEM certificates are only available for big computer manufacturers, not for motherboard manufacturers, eg: HP, DELL, TOSHIBA, NEC, etc are all computer manufacturers.
ASUS. MSI , ECS are motherboard manufacturers but ALSO sell notebooks and/or Desktop PC's they manufacturer themselves, and therefor have closed a OEM deal with Micro$oft.
To sum things up:
Motherboard Manufaturers do not have valid Slic tables & Oem Certifcates

No, the keys are used by many brands to preinstall Vista and the keys are used in so many systems that are running Vista legally, and if they shut it down, then Micro$oft would have so much bad publicity on their hands, from shutting down legitimate systems, that it would put a real hurting on them.

Method:
LOCATING THE OEMCERT.XRM-MS IN TOKENS.DAT
On a pre-activated Vista system go to: (or take tokens.dat from recovery disc) CODEC:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppD ata\Roaming\Micro$oft\SoftwareLicensing\Open "tokens.dat" with the hex editor of your choice (i used winhex)
Search for the words "OEM Certificate"
A few lines above that line you will see this string: CODE<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>Copy everything within that string and the string a bit further down called CODE</r:license>
Create a new file and paste the copied data
You should now have a file which is exactly 2.731 bytes
Save it, giving it a understandable name. eg: [BRAND].xrm-ms

How to dump your SLIC Table?
1- Download and install ACPIScope (WEBSITE | DOWNLOAD ACPIScope + KEYGEN)
2- Run ACPIScope
3- Go to File > Load ACPI information > From BIOS
4- On the left pane, right-click on the SLIC Table and choose Save table...
5- Save the file with the name of the OEM brand. For example: "Asus" or "Dell".
This will generate an .aml file (Asus.aml or Dell.aml, for example).
AML stands for ACPI Machine Language which is a binary pseudo-code format.
This means you can simply change the file extension from .aml to .bin, in order to be compliant with Vista Loader.
We need to encourage more people to dump and share their SLIC tables, in order to create a complete database full of certificates and SLIC tables.
This would greatly benefit SLP BIOS modding and should provide better support for both SLP BIOS emulation and legitimate SLP BIOS activation.
