But LG has now officially launched the Optimus Vu in Korea and it comes with everything we have heard so far.


For starters, you get a 5-inch IPS display with a 1024 x 768 resolution, which gives it an aspect ratio of 4:3. The display has a pixel density of 256 PPI, which is just short of Galaxy Note's 285 PPI.
Due to the 4:3 aspect ratio, the Optimus (90.4mm) Vu is wider than the Galaxy Note (83mm), which will make it even more difficult to handle. It is marginally thinner (8.5mm) than the Note (9.7mm) but that's not going to matter much when you hold it in your hand.
Other than that the Optimus Vu has a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8660 processor with Adreno 220 GPU, 32GB internal memory, 8 megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash, 1.3 megapixel front camera, LTE, HDMI, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct and T-DMB and a 2,080 mAh battery. The phone will launch with Android 2.3 Gingerbread but will soon be upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich.
The Optimus Vu will be available on SK Telecom and LG+ carriers in South Korea in early March. Pricing details are as yet unavailable.

We mean, seriously, just like the Galaxy Note, the LG Optimus Vu has a gargantuan displpay – 5 inches with a resolution of 1024 by 768 pixels, to be more specific. Also, it has been made for note taking and features a fancy stylus.


Will the Optimus Vu be superior to the Galaxy Note? Only time will tell. Well people, we don’t have to wait until tomorrow to scope out LG’s upcoming smartphones set for their official unveiling at the MWC floor tomorrow, February 26th – that’s because they’ve already gotten the preview treatment by the folks over at Telefonino. Let’s talk about the latter first, the LG Optimus 4X HD, since it’s probably the one that’s going to catch the attention of people more than anything else since it’s going to be scorching things up with its quad-core processor, 4.7” 720p HD-IPS display, and running LG’s most up-to-date Optimus UI on top of Android 4.0.3. Right away, we’re presented with some of the visual enhancements with LG’s take on Ice Cream Sandwich with things like the lockscreen and 3D effects in play when moving between homescreens. Fortunately, it seems to maintain its fluid movement thanks to its dreamy processor, but even more impressive considering it’s packing a 720p resolution display as well. Beyond seeing the latest LG experience in action, there’s not a whole lot of focus on the handset’s design in the video – though, we’ll be seeing it in the flesh very soon.

Next up on the list is the LG Optimus Vu, which is aiming to be a direct competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Note with its 4:3 aspect ratio display and note taking capabilities. Naturally, it has a distinguished boxy appearance, which isn’t something we typically see, due to its 5-inch 768 x 1024 display. Regardless of that, it still sports one streamlined construction, but it’s rather difficult to know for sure if it houses a stylus seeing a separate one was used to show off its new pen interface.

صفحش از نوت کوچیکتره مشکل از فرمت صفحس که رو 4:3 هست که پهن تر شده به جای درازتر
