Intel unveils Android-running Medfield phone and slate

Intel has just revealed its latest smartphone and tablet reference platforms based on its Medfield chipset. The chip maker is dead set on grabbing a piece of the two markets under ARM's nose and obviously won't let the few unsuccessful previous attempts stop it.
Intel seems to have learned its lesson and has implemented all of Medfield's functional elements on a single chip. That's the way that all current smartphone and tablet chipsets are and it was about time Intel stopped trying to reinvent the wheel and follow suit. The so called "systems-on-a-chip" are known for their superior power efficiency, which is crucial to mobile devices.
As for the actual hardware on display, there were a couple of Android-running devices. The smartphone was powered by Gingerbread, whereas the tablet used Honeycomb. As Technology Review reported both felt really nice to use, matching the smoothness of the current Android top-dogs and iPhones.
A particularly impressive bit about the reference designs was that they were able to capture 8 megapixel images at a rate of 15 fps.
Intel's architecture VP Stephen Smith mentioned that his company expects to see the first Medfield-based market-ready devices announced in the first half of 2012, which is just around the corner.
Some CPU architecture competition should work to everyone's benefit, so we are pretty eager to see those. Knowing the current rate of mobile chipset progress, we can only imagine what will happen once a big player like Intel enters the market properly.

13MP photos from an upcoming Sony Ericsson device emerge

Several photos have popped up in Picasaweb from a yet to be announced Sony Ericsson LT28at Android smartphone, sporting a 13MP camera. Despite being compressed in the upload process, the pictures have mind-blowing detail and dynamic range. See them below.

The smartphone in question is likely an AT&T bound, LTE beast with a spec sheet to match its massive, back-illuminated camera unit. They include a dual-core CPU, clocked at 1.5GHz, and a 4.55" Reality display with HD (720x1280 pixels) resolution.
We are likely to see the device get unveiled at CES, which kicks off next month in Las Vegas. We will be covering it live, so expect an update on the topic as soon as we hear about it.

Huawei هم قراره تو mwc 2012 جدید ترین و بهترین اسمارتفونشو معرفی کنه

Huawei to announce their best smartphone yet at MWC 2012

You know a company is taking an announcement seriously when they sent the invitations three months in advance. Huawei has just sent out invitations for an event that will take place on February 26 next year, which is the day before the MWC kicks-off.
Traditionally, this day has been used by market behemoths like Samsung, Nokia and Sony Ericsson to make their announcements, prior to the start of the mobile industry's largest event. However, Huawei obviously feels really confident about its upcoming smartphone and is going to try and steal some of the spotlight.
According to the invitation Huawei will be announcing their "smartest, fastest and most high-performing smartphone yet" at the event. And yeah, we know the bar isn't set too high, but the latest crop of Huawei devices isn't half bad at all (most notably the Honor and the Vision), so we might be on for something really exciting.
We'll have to wait and see, but here's hoping that it will be worth it.

MEIZU کمپانی سازنده MX قراره سال آینده تو ماه می یه گوشی 4 هسته ای عرضه کنه با چیپست EXYNOS 4412

Meizu MX will reportedly enter the quad-core realm in May 2012

In our review of the Meizu MX from last week, we found the smartphone to be one of the most capable dual-core offerings on the market today. It appears however, that the Chinese company behind this peculiar smartphone has grander plans for its offspring. It released its plans for a quad-core version of the MX, which will be unveiled in May next year.

Rumor has it, that the quad-core Meizu MX will feature the Samsung made Exynos 4412 CPU - a logical speculation given the current CPU of the smartphone. Regardless of the silicon choice though, having a reasonably priced quad-core Android smartphone sounds like a neat idea to us.

یه شات از دوربین یه گوشی جدید سامی با کد نیم i9500 منتشر شده که به این کد نیم فقط میخوره که مال گالکسی اس 3 باشه اما این شات رزلشن 5 مگاپیکسلی داره و اطلاعات عکس هم نشون میده که توی یکی از مراکز سامسونگ تو کره گرفته شده.. اما یکم دور از ذهن به نظر میاد که gs3 یه دوربین 5 مگاپیکسلی داشته باشه چون همین الان رو gs2 دوربین 8 هست
و اینکه اطلاعات EXIF میشه خیلی راحت جعل کرد ولی اگه کسی میخواست یه سرکاری راه بندازه میتونست اطلاعات قابل باور تری بذاره...
