همانطور که در خبرهای همین هفته آمده بود، تعدادی آسیب پذیری امنیتی خطرناک درون ابزار پیغام رسان یاهو مسنجر کشف شد. شرکت یاهو خوشبختانه با ارائه آخرین فایل اصلاحیه نسخه کنونی این ابزار را به ویرایش Yahoo Messenger 8.1.0.401 ارتقا داد تا محیط امن کاربران خود را دوباره به آنها برگرداند.

به سبب وجود چندین اشکال امنیتی "بحرانی" ، دریافت و نصب این بروزرسانی به تمامی کاربران پیغام رسان یاهو مسنجر توصیه میشود.

برای نصب بروزرسانی ابتدا از پنجره اصلی این ابزار به مسیر Help> Check for Updates مراجعه کنید و اگر با پیغامی مبنی بر وجود نسخه جدیدتری مواجه شدید اقدام به بارگیری و سپس نصب آن نمائید.

Yahoo! offers PC to PC telephone, file transfers, webcam hosting, text messaging service, and chat rooms in various categories. Yahoo Messenger 8.1 Offline Installer

Generally, when one wishes to download the yahoo messenger, only a small yahoo downloader (msgr8us.exe) with a size of just 460 kb is downloaded. So, actually, that downloader does the job (downloading+installing) for us while we are online. But, this is of full size, that can be installed anywhere online/offline.

نسخه جدید این برنامه امکانات جالبی دارد مثلا می‌شود عکس ، فیلم و نقشه را به مکالمات اضافه کرد. این نسخه امکانات دیگری هم دارد که از بین آنها می‌شود به اینها اشاره کرد:


- نمایش عکس‌های فلیکر را به صورت یک اسلاید شو

- در نسخه نهم فایل‌ها به حجم 2 گیگابایت را می‌توان ارسال کرد ، این فایل‌ها با آنتی‌ویروس نورتون به صورت خودکار ، اسکن می‌شوند.
- داشتن پوسته‌های جدید
- فوروارد تماس به ارئه‌دهندگان خدمات VoIP
- ارسال SMS ‌به تلفن‌های موبایل دوستان
- خندانک‌های جدید


یاهو ادعا کرده است که پیام‌رسانش سال قبل ، 19 درصد رشد کاربر داشته است ، در حالی که AOL ‌در همین زمان تنها 2 درصد رشد کاربر داشته است.

- A whole new look for your contact list. Keep it in detail view to see larger Avatar images for your friends, or switch to compact list view (in the Contacts menu). Plus, you can just hover and click to IM, SMS or call a friend.

یه سری مشکلات توی لاگین کردن داره، موقع PC-to-PC Call ، موقع فرستادن فایل. در کل نسبت به نسخه های قبلی بتا ایراد های کمتری داره. البته انتظار محیط بهتری داشتم.
