About your other sentence, I think you have made a mistake in the last part.
Can you can a can with a can
the first can is an aux verb and means the ability to do something - the second can is the main verb and means conserve food for future use - the third can is the container for such food - and sorry nothing comes to my mind now for the last can in you sentence
