Notes:
* WORKS on both x86/x64
* WORKS on all microsoft OFFICE 2010 *VOLUME* editions.
not for RETAIL.
* WORKS on the FINAL RTM version (v14.0.4763.1000)
also work on the RTM escrow version (v14.0.4734.1000)
* kmsreset.exe will activate office as VOLUME_KMSCLIENT channel
mode for 180 days.
* Just run kmsreset.exe again to reset the activation back to 180 days.
* kmsreset.exe will delete all traces after use (like the KMS host name, of course each user will get a
different KMS client machine id) so microsft will not be able to block it.
* It will pass OGA and microsoft validation checks.
you will be able to download updates & templates etc..
* You don't have to install office at the default installation folder because kmsreset.exe will know where
you install it (unlike other activators).
* No service/task are installed
* To check the activation just run "check.bat".
If it does not show as "LICENSED" (180 days)
AND you get one of the following errors:
"0xC004F056"
"0x8007000D"
then you need to delete the following registry key:
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\OfficeSoftw areProtectionPlatform"
and then open office and let it repair itself (after restart, open office again and wait untill it finish to configure itself restart)
then run kmsreset.exe again.
* If you want you can add a task to run "kmsreset.exe" onstart
Just run this command:
"schtasks /create /tn "KMS" /tr kmsreset.exe /sc ONSTART /ru SYSTEM"
and copy kmsreset.exe to "C:\Windows\System32" folder (disable uac).
