In the now-classic novel Interview with the Vampire, Anne Rice refreshed
the archetypal vampire myth for a late-20th-century audience.
The story is ostensibly a simple one: having suffered a tremendous personal
loss, an 18th-century Louisiana plantation owner named Louis Pointe du Lac
descends into an alcoholic stupor. At his emotional nadir, he is confronted
by Lestat, a charismatic and powerful vampire who chooses Louis to be his
fledgling. The two prey on innocents, give their "dark gift" to a young girl,
and seek out others of their kind (notably the ancient vampire Armand) in
Paris. But a summary of this story bypasses the central attractions of the
novel.
First and foremost, the method Rice chose to tell her tale--with Louis'
first-person confession to a skeptical boy--transformed the vampire from a
hideous predator into a highly sympathetic, seductive, and all-too-human
figure. Second, by entering the experience of an immortal character, one
raised with a deep Catholic faith, Rice was able to explore profound
philosophical concerns--the nature of evil, the reality of death, and the
limits of human perception--in ways not possible from the perspective of a more finite narrator.

In order to download for many times from Rapidshare without any kind of limitations, you have to buy a premium account which costs about 10 Euros and gives you the permission of downloading about 90 giga bytes for a month with resumable links and also simultaneous downloads at higher speed. And also, premium users' uploaded files are never deleted even if they are never downloaded for a long time. However, free users' uploaded files are deleted after 30 days of inactivity. And you have to know that most of the guys who introduce some files here have no access to the files themselves as they have been uploaded by others(specially foreigners who have access to high speed internet connection).

و اینک تقویت حافظه و تند خوانی نصرت ( ارائه ای دیگر از موسسه نصرت )،پس از ماهها استفاده از CD های آموزش مکالمه زبان انگلیسی مصرف کنندگان این محصول پی به واقعی بودن ادعای ما برده اند و حتی عده ای معتقدند قدرت و ارزش این سی دی ها بسیار بیش از آن چیزی است که ما به آن اشاره کردیم . همانطور که همه میدانید موسسه نصرت قبل از پرداختن به بحث آموزش زبان که در واقع انقلابی را در روش یادگیری سریع مکالمه انگلیسی ایجاد کرد به آموزش روشهای تند خوانی و تقویت حافظه میپرداخت و در واقع اولین موسسه تند خوانی کشور است که بازده متدها و روشهایش برای همگان اثبات شده است . آقای نصرت در ادامه ارئه موفقیت آمیز نوارهای آموزش زبان نوارهای معجزه کننده تقویت حافظه را به بازار عرضه کرد که خود من به عنوان یک استفاده کننده این محصول مدعی هستم که واقعا این دیگه آخرشه . اما چرا انگلیسی ؟
1- با متد نوین به کار گرفته در این نوارها فقط بصورت صوتی قدرت حافظه خود را به ده برابر ( دقیقاً ده برابر) افزایش دهید. دیگر گرفتار تمرین بر روی کاغذ و یا مطالعه برای تقویت حافظه و تند خوانی نخواهید بود و فقط گوش کنید.
2- کارشناسانی که بر روی مغز انسان کار کرده‌اند معتقدند ضریب هوش با بالارفتن میزان حافظه افزایش می‌یابد. همچنین بررسیها نشان داده یک انسان میتواند از 5 تا 6 درصد قدرت حافظه‌اش استفاده کند. این میزان در تیز هوشان حداکثر 9 درصد است. این سی دی در فقط سه هفته به شما می‌آموزد چگونه بصورت عملی این مقدار را به 50 درصد افزایش دهید.
3- برای همیشه قلم و کاغذ را فراموش کنید. یک کتاب پر از فرمول را روبرویتان قرار دهید. مغز شما به طور خودکار همه فرمولها را حفظ میکند و تا آخر عمر در حافظه شما باقی خواهد ماند. فراموشی را برای همیشه فراموش کنید. (اینها بخشهایی از صحبتهای آقای نصرت است) او همچنین یک مثال عملی میزند که شما در هفته سوم استفاده از این نوارها توانایی انجام آن را خواهید داشت او می‌گوید: به درون یک سالن بروید که 100 نفر مهمان در آن سالن است. شما هیچکدام را نمی‌شناسید. از مهمان‌ها بخواهید یکی یکی خود را به شما معرفی کنند. آنها هرکدام نام، فامیل و تلفن خود را فقط یک بار به شما خواهند گفت. شما بعد از این مهمانی در هر لحظه از عمر هرکدام از ایشان را ببینید نام، فامیل و تلفن او را به یاد خواهید آورد. شما همچنین میتوانید اسامی همه مهمانها با کلیه مشخصاتشان را به ترتیب معرفی کردن در هر زمان از عمرتان به خاطر بیاورید و بازگو کنید. این کارها واقعاً پس از سه هفته گوش کردن به این نوارها عملی است. فقط گوش کردن به دو جلسه اول این آموزش تقویت حافظه شما را شگفت زده خواهد کرد. این روش هم میزان یادگیری و هم سرعت یادگیری شما را به طور شگفت انگیزی افزایش میدهد چون نه شخص شما بلکه مغز شما یاد میگیرد که چگونه همه چیز را بخاطر بسپارد. به همان سادگی که نفس می‌کشید.
4- شعار همیشگی استاد نصرت این است: « اصلاً استعداد شما مهم نیست» به من کسانی را تحویل دهید که خیال میکنید از همه خنگ ترند کسانی که به خودشان برچسب کم هوشی زده‌اند. کسانی که فکر میکنید چیز یاد نمیگیرند. ببینید من از اینها چه خواهم ساخت و چه چیزی تحویل میدهم.

Anthony Cade (or GENTLEMAN JOE) is not a man who stays too much in a place or on a job.
So when his friend asks him deliver the memories of a former prime-minister of a small
country he accepts. However things don't go that smoothly. First in visited by a
polite baron, a violent member of a known criminal organisation and then is attracted
by his Italian waiter. And of course all they want is the manuscript.
His second mission is to give a young lady some compromising letters, but when he
arrives at her house, she asks him to help her dispose of a body (of the Italian waiter).
The only thing that the man had was a piece of paper with "11.45 Chimneys" written.
When he arrives at the Chimneys house at that time a pistol is heard and Anthony finds
himself suspected of murdering a prince. Superintendent Battle doesn't suspect him
because he can't find a motive (but Anthony did have a motive).
Thing are getting more complicated once a French detective arrives and seriously
suspects him. All Anthony can do is find the real murderer (but King Victor might
be anyone of the guests in the Chimneys)

Fraser, who played Captain Hastings, the sidekick for arch Belgian detective Hercule
Poirot in the PBS Mystery series, now performs the entire cast in Christie's 1955
mystery. Fraser's Poirot is derivative of the stellar performance of the series' star,
David Suchet; nevertheless, Fraser gives Christie's work his own imprimatur. Poirot is
absent much of the time in this tale of kleptomania, malice and murder set at a boarding
house for students. Add to the mix a number of students from England, a temperamental
Greek landlady and an Italian house staff, and one must conclude that Fraser is some
sort of magician to keep all the players sorted out as they converge in the common room.
Not to be missed among the clamoring voices is Christie's narrative, from which Fraser
manages to wring every wry drop. The producers at the Mystery Masters division of the
Audio Partners were smart to hire Fraser to record this classic, and listeners will
find it a delightful romp that passes all too quickly.

highly enough for quality of material and great performances at affordable prices.
In this complicated maze of a mystery, people are dying in alphabetical order. Poirot
knows there must be a method to this madness and digs deep to uncover a motive.
Fraser is perfection itself at painting the tiny portraits of diverse individuals.
Christie ties the whole canvas together to tell a complete story. To enter a world she
has created is to escape your own for at least awhile, and, as is the case with any
great vacation, you'll be longing for the next time you can get away . . . with murder.

Gilbert Keith Chesterton (1874 - 1936) Popular English writer of the early 20th century whose book Orthodoxy is considered a classic of Christian Apologetics.

Ten Days in a Madhouse by Nelly Bly

In 1887 Nellie Bly, one of the first female newspaper writers, and a young reporter who would soon go on to make a career for herself as an investigative journalist and stunt reporter, had herself committed to the Blackwell's Island Insane Asylum in New York. Her purpose was to discover what life was like for those who had been deemed insane. She was surprised to discover the depth of mistreatment of the patients. Partially as a result of her reporting, more money was allocated to the asylum and reforms were put into place.

Summaries of the stories:

The Tale of Peter Rabbit - 1902
The story of the naughty Peter Rabbit and his adventure in Mr McGregor's
garden, was the first of Beatrix Potter's books to be published. The book
was an expansion of the original letter of 1893 to Noel Moore, whose mother
had once been Potter's governess.

The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin - 1903
In 1901, while holidaying near Derwentwater in the Lake District, Beatrix
wrote a letter to Norah Moore, sister of Noel, describing the squirrels she
saw daily. This letter eventually developed into the story of the cheeky
squirrel, who dared to tease 'Old Brown' the owl, living on an island in
the lake.

The Tale of Benjamin Bunny - 1904
Benjamin is a self-confident little rabbit, the cousin of Peter. Together,
they get into all sorts of scrapes in Mr McGregor's garden, finally being
rescued by Old Mr Benjamin Bunny, young Benjamin's father.

The Tale of Mrs Tiggy-Winkle - 1905
Many of Beatrix Potter's books were based on the numerous pets she had
kept during her life. Although she did, at one time, have a pet hedgehog
named Mrs Tiggy-Winkle, the character in the book is based on an old
washerwoman in the village of Sawrey, Mrs Kitty MacDonald. The young girl
in the story, Lucy, was Lucy Carr, the daughter of the vicar of Newlands
which is a valley between Derwentwater and Buttermere.

The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck - 1908
The tale of a rather naive, and not too bright duck, who makes a rather
strange friend, and eventually has to be rescued by Kep. Kep was the farm
collie dog, based on one of Beatrix Potter's own dogs.

The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies - 1909
Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny are grown up and Benjamin has married
Peter's sister, Flopsy. The story is based around the daring rescue of
Benjamin and Flopsy's children, the Flopsy Bunnies of the title, from the
grasp of Mr McGregor and the pie dish of Mrs McGregor.

The Tale of Johnny Town-Mouse - 1918
A retelling of the Aesop Fable of "The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse".
The country mouse, Timmy Willie, falls asleep in a hamper, and is carried
with the vegetables to the city, where the mice, including Johnny Town-Mouse,
make him welcome, but finding the cat frightening and the food strange, he
returns by the hamper. Sometime later, Johnny Town-Mouse pays him a visit,
but finding such things as cows and lawn-mowers frightening, returns to the
city himself.
